Accomodation

For everybody who doesn’t already have an idea where to stay, we offer the following:

There is a gym right next to the courts. Bring your sleeping bags and camping mats with you and you can sleep only 200 meters off the courts. If you bring your tent or even your camping trailer you can camp on-site. Showers will be open from 6am to 10pm and toilets will be open 24hours. The Gym will be open from Thursday night, August 12th, until Monday morning, August 16th only. Camping starts on Wednesday already. Unfortunately there will be a charge of 2.50 Euros per night for sleeping in the gym as well as in your tent, initially the owner had told us that it would be for free.

The more comfortable way to stay is the hotel across the street. Check http://www.comforthotel-weissensee.de/ and ask for Miss Feller: +49 30 47884150, she does speak English. They have single (55Euros) and double (65Euros) rooms, including breakfast and space for your bikes. Every additional person is 20Euros per room. If you are planning to stay longer than two nights it’s definitely worth bargaining since there is not much else going on in Berlin that time of the year.

If you don’t yet have a place to stay for the tournament, you can try http://www.couchsurfing.org There are a ton of CouchSurfers in Berlin right now. A quick search returned over 1000 results.
